This is a an antique bandbox table. The folk art end table was crafted from a wooden band or cheese box. As found. The base of the box shapes the bottom shelf as the upturned lid creates the table top. Beautiful hand-stenciled design in gold across the outside with a lovely brown motif on the table top.
